How we protect your plans

Your plans and bids are your business. Here is exactly how we handle them.

Who can see your plans

• Only the takeoff specialist and the reviewer working on your bid.
• Everyone who works on a takeoff signs a confidentiality agreement first.
• We never share your plans, quantities or bid details with anyone else, and we never bid on work ourselves.

How files move

• You send a link to the plans. We do not need you to email large files.
• We return your takeoff by email or a private download link.
• Our website uses HTTPS. Card payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

How long we keep them

• We delete plan files and working copies 90 days after we deliver your takeoff.
• We keep the finished takeoff and our emails with you, so we can answer questions and fix mistakes, unless you ask us to delete them.
• Want everything deleted sooner? Email hello@nightshiftbids.com and we will do it within 5 business days.

Your part

• Only send plans you are allowed to share, such as bid sets from a general contractor or a public bid site.
• If a bid has its own confidentiality rules, tell us and we will follow them.
